Additional Toddler Notes:
- 1-2 year olds: provide hand over hand help, especially in the beginning to help them learn how to squeeze the pipettes to get liquid from one container to another.
- Using larger pipettes will be easier for toddlers to squeeze and will suck up more liquid than smaller ones.
- Pouring out of larger vessels such as cups will give larger reactions with the baking soda. Experiment with differently sized vessels for your toddler to see how the reactions change.
