The supplies listed below are recommended but not required for cooking with your toddler and are meant to make your cooking experience a little smoother. This list will be regularly updated as more recipes are added. Some of these items may be used in only some and not all of the recipes. For recipe specific recommendations, see the recommended supplies list attached to each recipe.
All recommended items on this list have been tested and used by me/my kids, unless otherwise specified (in some occasions I may provide alternatives if my original recommended item is no longer available – but this will be clearly stated).

Toddler Specific Items
Kitchen Helper: There are many different types and styles you can choose from depending on your family’s needs. I purchased 2 different styles and both work well in our kitchen. We have a convertible tower to table and a foldable tower. We purchased both on Etsy (pending links) but there are other comparable options on Amazon as well. Purchasing a safety net will help ensure your toddler is safely secured on their kitchen tower until you are confident your toddler can safely climb up/down and stand within the tower without one. We purchased the Piccalio safety net which can be found at the Piccalio website and on Etsy.

- Safety Net: (pending Etsy link)
Toddler Knives: 2 main types – chopper (ideal for little toddlers) and plastic serrated edge knives (ideal for older toddlers). We purchased the wood chopper from Etsy but this is a good plastic option on Amazon. We have the listed serrated knives and love them.

Masher: https://amzn.to/3HQ2RKA – Avocado mashers are the perfect size for our toddlers to practice and learn to mash with as the handle is perfectly sized for their little hands.

Fun Kitchen Timer: https://amzn.to/4mXkZBJ – my toddlers love using this kitchen timer over the timer on the stove or my phone.

Mini Waffle Maker (with fun plates!): https://amzn.to/3KqGD2V – has a few colors to choose from and comes with a couple of different shaped plates. This one came with the dinosaur and unicorn plates. My toddlers are obsessed with them. This waffle maker also has additional plates available for purchase, which of course I had to as well.

General Cooking Items
Baking Dish Set (Anchor): https://amzn.to/44l72qq – We purchased this set years ago and it is still in excellent condition. Set contains bread pan and 2 (medium + large) baking dishes.
Bread Pan (Anchor): https://amzn.to/40dqcft – This bread pan comes in the above set, but can also be purchased separately if desired.
Cheese Grater: https://amzn.to/3HPx3W7 – consists of 4 different sides with different grate sizes and shapes. Can also be used for shaving vegetables such as carrots and zucchini.
Food Processor (Cuisinart): https://amzn.to/3TO1Sx0. This is a 7 cup food processor, which is on the smaller side but has met all of our cooking/baking needs thus far. We purchased this item around 10 years ago and it still works just fine.
Silicone Cupcake Liners: https://amzn.to/4kVtmNo – These liners are an eco friendly reusable option to sub for traditional cupcake liners. My kids love the bright colors of these liners and they are dishwasher safe for easy washing!
Silicone Muffin Pan with Reusable Liners: https://amzn.to/43PQAyf – due to nature of these muffin pans, they need to be used with a cookie sheet underneath in order to take in/out of the oven.
Stand Mixer (KitchenAid): https://amzn.to/4k9Abtw (5 quart) or https://amzn.to/45V2ybx (mini mixer – 3.5 quarts). While this is a pricey item, we love our stand mixer (we have the 5 quart). We bought ours 8 years ago and it still works great.
