I purchased these wooden ornaments from Amazon to use as a craft activity at my son’s Grinchmas birthday party and they were a hit! Additionally, these make the perfect keepsake gift for family and friends. Inscribe your toddler’s name and the year on the back for additional sentimental value for these ornaments to be used year after year!

Activity Instructions: for all ages
- Provide toddler with paints and paint brushes. Allow them to free paint. (and resist the urge to stop them when they start mixing all of the paint colors together! – they are learning color theory!)
- Let dry
- Optional: Use glue to create a pattern and then cover in glitter. Shake off any excess glitter. Let fully dry.
- Write toddler’s name and year on the back.
- Attach string and bell. It’s now ready to be hung!
Note: You can assist your toddler with as much help as they require. You can let me fully free paint and decorate or you can help guide them. If using glitter, you should apply the glue for our littlest of toddlers and can assist older toddlers with squeezing the bottle and forming a pattern before applying glitter.
