These yummy cookies are nice and chewy, and never last long in our house – they get eaten so fast! They are so easy to make that our pro toddler chefs will mostly just need you to supervise and give directions!

Makes 18-24 cookies.
Ingredients
General Directions:
- Add butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar to mixing bowl. Using stand mixer or hand held beater, beat on medium until fully combined – light and fluffy.
- Add vanilla, egg, and cinnamon. Beat on low until well mixed (~1 minute).
- Add flour and baking soda. Beat on lowest setting until just combined.
- Add oats and chocolate chips. Beat on lowest setting or stir to combine.
- Cover with plastic wrap and place in refrigerator. Chill dough for 1 hour.
- Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
- Grease or line baking sheets with parchment paper.
- Use small ice cream scooper (2 tablespoons) or large spoon (will need to roll balls) to form cookies. Add dough balls to baking sheets ~2 inches apart.
- Bake for 8-10 minutes. Cookies are done when edges are golden brown but still soft in the center.
- Remove from over and let cool 1-2 minutes. Then transfer to wire rack to cool completely.

3. Help to measure ingredients and pour into mixing bowl. Help beat ingredients with stand mixer or hand held beater (use hand over hand help as needed).

4. Help to measure ingredients and pour into mixing bowl. Help beat ingredients with stand mixer or hand held beater (use hand over hand help as needed).
8. Scoop dough using ice cream scooper or large spoon and help place on cookie sheet. If using large spoon, help to form dough into balls before placing on cookie sheet.
