My SoCal toddlers LOVED this activity – they played with the “snow” for a solid 40 minutes the first day and thankfully it keeps well as my toddlers wanted to play with it multiple days in a row.

General Directions:

  1. In a plastic container/tray, add box of baking soda then slowly add shaving cream until you reach desired snow consistency. (I used a little over 1/2 a can of shaving cream)
  2. Add some plastic or rubber toys, cups, spoons.
  3. Let toddlers play.
  4. You can store your snow in an airtight container for a week, which means your toddlers can reuse it over and over again.

Toddler Instructions:

For toddlers of all ages – let them free play! Give them various cups + spoons to allow exploration of these cooking tools.
