Did you know you can make edible sand and bring the beach to your home? My toddlers had a blast with this activity, but be forewarned that it can get messy which is all part of the sensory fun!

Supplies:
- Cheerios
- Blender

- Measuring cups/spoons
- Small beach toys
- Water (optional)
Activity Instructions:
- Add at least 2 cups of cheerios to blender (amount of cheerios needed will depend on the size of play container chosen). Blend cheerios until no chunks remain.
- Pour into tub container and spread it out along the bottom. Blend more Cheerios if needed to get desired amount.
- Add in measuring cups and spoons, and small beach toys.
- Let your toddler play!

Toddler Instructions:
- Let your toddler free play with the cups, spoons, and beach toys.
- You can direct them to scoop sand with any of the provided items and to fill larger items.
- Optional: give them water to pour into the tub. This will make the activity a bit messier, but the added science learning and sensory play is a plus!
